I need help with purchasing the right general RF devices for my senior project. I will like to design a prototype of an indoor positioning system, using the triangulation concept. Through research, I am interested in using the product code: RB-Ite-19 - 2.4G Transceiver nRF24L01 Modules controlled by ultra lower MCUs due to low cost and the listed active rfid application feature.

The objective for this prototype will be to track and monitor individuals from entering designated danger areas inside a one-level facility, using transmitters and receivers.

The product you chose seems like a good candidate for your research. You can use its LNA gain control to change the receiver sensitivity and determine the distance to other transceivers by calibrating the gain with the range.

However, this remains very experimental ans is not within the intended use of the transceiver.
