General printer recommendations, delta vs xyz

I’m looking to get a new printer or printer kit. My printer head seems to have bit the dust and the Robox printer head is a large part of its cost?

Because of a change in circumstances, I am planning in living in an RV within the year. RVs are a bit hard on delicate machinery. Imagine a medium earthquake happening whenever I move. My shop may not be in the RV itself, but rather in a small trailer pulled by the RV, depending on the RV I get.

RVs tend to have a 12v power supply, in addition to a 120v power supply created by an inverter or by connecting to the normal (for the US 120v mains supply). I plan on having a large soar system with batteries in order to run my shop when I want to do this.

Therefore I want a sturdy printer that can either take the stresses of the road or be calibrated quickly. I don’t plan to print while I’m moving.

Right now I’m trying to decide on a delta vs a normal XYZ printer. Bonuses are given to printers which can be run off of a straight 12v supply.

Thanks in advance.

Cartesian can be really

Cartesian can be really sturdy. Mine is a ruggedized 3drag, and did fall from the table twice, with negligible damage. Electronics need some care, but with a good enclosure works nice. The 3drag won’t fail a print because of little vibrations, but needs a good base.

Deltas can be faster and cheaper, slightly less power. I can’t say further as i don’t own one (yet).

Something I didn’t state up
Something I didn’t state up top, but I would like to make larger prints, up to 1 ft in diameter or maybe 10 inches square. Or larger if I can afford the printer ad the space.

I also would like an enclosure and heated bed. Both of which I can add later.
