I would like to have my students build a circuit and incorporate a motor to allow for movement of a small object (e.g. a spinning ballerina, merry go round, dollhouse fan). What type of motor would be most suitable? Most seem to have a really high RPM. Do I need some kind of gear? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
