is fuzzy logic just using approximate values to do copmutations like near far here n, as opposed to 15ft away or 23ft away? thanks.
The best source of information regarding this kind of thing is Google. Google can be your best friend sometimes. Here’s a start. All I did was type in fuzzy logic and it was the first link that came up.

Also, this topic has nothing to do with Servo Erector Sets. You should try to respect the proper thread topics, there are more than enough already to cover just about anything and everything.
sorry. I just didn’t know where it would fit in. although in retrospect “general discussion” probably would of worked better. thanks by the way the link was very helpful.
Yes, when in doubt, you can’t go wrong with “General Discussion”.
When I have quandries, I usually go in this order:
Wikipedia
Google
Forums
Don’t get me wrong; there’s nothing wrong with forums.
But, it takes time to get your answer with them, and I usually prefer to ask the all-knowing Wiki and get an immediate one.
I have a question for you nick, in your signature is that referring to a battlebot you own. a helicopter, what is it? thanx
Uh, well, sort of off-topic, but…
It’s a famous BattleBot made by Jamie Hyneman (the guy with the mustache on Mythbusters).
Here’s a couple links about it, it’s got a really awesome history:

When I grow up and build my take-the-world-over bot, I want it to be just like Blendo.
I watch that show all the time I can’t believe i never made the connection with M5. that bot is pretty sweet. it is the only bot I have ever seen on those shows (watch them alot) being thrown form the arena from being too flippin, powerful!
