Functionment of HeartBIT(RB-Plu-01)

I have some questions about the HeartBIT, RB-Plu-01.

  1. In order to measure the GSR (EDA), do we just need to buy an extra cable like the RB-Plu-05 ?
    robotshop.com/ca/fr/cable-el … -fils.html
and to branch it in the inputs of the module ?

  2. How do we proceed to read all data from a computer ? I saw that there is a Bluetooth function. There is any driver to extract the data ? Otherwise, where could I find information about the transmission protocol in order to do a driver?

  3. What are the means differences between the RB-Plu-01 and the RB-Plu-07 ?

Thanks in advance for your support!

  1. RB-Plu-01 includes a three-sensor cable
    robotshop.com/en/heartbit-bi … t-kit.html

  2. The manufacturer offers free sample programs after you have purchased the module(s). The interface for RB-Pli-01 is Bluetooth, so your computer should also have Bluetooth.

  3. You can see the differences below:

RB-Plu-01:

]1x HeartBIT hardware (MCU, Bluetooth, Power, ECG, Accelerometer, LED) as a single board/:m]
]1x 3-lead accessory (for ECG)/:m]
]3x Pre-gelled electrodes/:m]
]1x Li-Po Battery 320mAh/:m]RB-Plu-07:

]1x BITalino hardware (MCU, Bluetooth, Power, ECG, EMG, EDA, Accelerometer, Light, LED) as a single board/:m]
]1x 3-lead accessory (for EMG / ECG)/:m]
]1x 2-lead accessory (for EDA)/:m]
]5x Pre-gelled electrodes/:m]
]1x Li-Po Battery 320mAh/:m]

Thanks! I still need some precisions:

  1. I would use this cable to measure ECG. Can I measure at the same time ECG and EDA (with an extra cable like the RB-Plu-05 ) ?

  2. Where can I find these free sample programs, and the web-site of the supplier ? (I just found Chinese site on google)

  3. Thanks, but you compare RB-Plu-05 and RB-Plu-07 rather than RB-Plu-01 and RB-Plu-07.
    In the page of RB-Plu-01
    robotshop.com/ca/fr/kit-deve … rtbit.html
there is " EMG ; ECG ; EDA ; accéléromètre ; lumière etc" listed in the description, which looks as the same than for the RB-Plu-07.

Happy to help.

The code does allow for this (almost) simultaneously.

All information can be found here: bitalino.com/

Our apologies. The number was wrong - we have corrected it.

If the number is 01 rather than 05, it looks to have an error either in the comparison, that states “MCU, Bluetooth, Power, ECG, Accelerometer, LED” or on the web-page of the RB-Plu-01, that rather states “EMG ; ECG ; EDA ; accéléromètre ; lumière etc”.
Which statement is true ?

We have clarified that 01 does include the following:

]1x HeartBIT hardware (MCU, Bluetooth, Power, ECG, Accelerometer, LED) as a single board /:m]
]1x 3-lead accessory (for ECG) /:m]
]3x Pre-gelled electrodes /:m]
]1x Li-Po Battery 500mAh/:m]
RB-Plu-05 is just a two lead cable.

We can confirm that RB-Plu-07 includes the following (more than 01):

]1x BITalino hardware (MCU, Bluetooth, Power, ECG, EMG, EDA, Accelerometer, Light, LED) as a single board /:m]
]1x 3-lead accessory (for EMG / ECG) /:m]
]1x 2-lead accessory (for EDA / ECG) /:m]
]5x Pre-gelled electrodes /:m]
]1x Li-Po Battery 500mAh/:m]
We do hope we understand your question correctly, though we apologize in advance if we do not.

It seems then to have an error on your web page about the RB-Plu-01 :
robotshop.com/ca/fr/kit-deve … rtbit.html
In Description:
Capteurs : EMG ; ECG ; EDA ; accéléromètre ; lumière etc.

RB-Plu-01 does indeed include the HeartBIT hardware with onboard microcontroller, Bluetooth module, ECG input, accelerometer and LED.
We will remove EMG from the description and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This sentence, in the description of the RB-Plu-01 in its web-page also includes EDA and EMG

Yes, we do apologize and have removed the reference to the EMG.

Just don’t forget to also remove the reference to the EDA

Yes - corrected. Might take a moment to go live. At this time we have not had the chance to play with these sensors and look forward to you providing us with your experience.
