So far i’ve been unsuccessful in trying to find a pulley ( or cog ) to fit a small motor that will free wheel in one direction but ‘drive’ in the other. (similar to free wheel sprocket on a bike)
any one any idea if a components like this exists?

What you are looking for is a “one way bearing” if that can be of any help.
It’s not something we carry as far as i know.
