For Sale: Micromagic MSR-H01 Hexapod with Extras - $400

For Sale: Micromagic Systems MSR-H01 Hexapod Robot with Extras. The hexpod robot kit has been meticulously assembled and configured. It is in like-new condition and perfect working order.

The MSR-H01 is a 3 degrees-of-freedom (DOF) hexapod robot kit consisting of precision laser-cut 5053 aluminum body and leg components. The 3 DOF for each leg are provided by three high-torque, ball-bearing, metal-geared servos, for a total of eighteen servos controlling the smooth and organic inverse kinematics (IK) driven motion of the robot. The IK engine is a dedicated microcontroller unit (MCU) & supporting PCB running HexEngine firmware developed by Matt Denton of Micromagic. The robot also sports a dual servo pan-and-tilt head housing an SRF04 ultrasonic sensor used for obstacle detection. A wireless PS2 controller has been added to the robot to allow the user to fully control the robot. In addition, a second microcontroller & supporting circuit board have been installed so that the robot can be programmed to perform autonomous tasks. Bluetooth interfaces have been installed on both microcontrollers to aid in the wireless control and programming of the robot. The hexapod is capable of four different gaits & variable walking speeds, all available from the PS2 controller or Bluetooth. All documentation is included in printed & electronic formats. Development software & IDE for ATOM Pro MCU also included.
