Flowbotics Studio with Raspberry Pi and Arduino Mega Combo

Hello,

I am very new to robotics but have a background in software. Hardware and robotics are new to me so I am concerned that I won’t be able to use Flowbotics to design robot software that can run on our Raspberry Pi and Arduino Mega setup.

Can anyone confirm whether or not we can design the program in Flowbotics and use it for our standalone robot without connecting to a computer running Windows? We are running Ubuntu Mate currently on the Pi but are not set on that OS.

Hi Nick,

At this point in time, any application created using FlowBotics Studio can only run in a Windows environment in which the proper libraries are setup.

Therefore, such applications cannot run on a Linux-based OS or independently from a Windows-based computer.
