FlowArm PLTW and autostart a specific pattern

Hi, I see that this (this topic) was added to future features in march of 2015. It is now the year 2020 and still not in the software. this is not a difficult feature to implement and would be very helpful to everyone using the software. What is the holdup if I may ask?

@FidoN3t Welcome to the RobotShop Community. The focus of FlowArm shifted to the new Lynxmotion Smart Servo and the 4DoF & upcoming 3DoF robot arms. The number of reported issues and improvements is always compiled and prioritized, and at that time, nobody else reported the issue or requested the change, so other features and fixes were prioritized. There are a number of work-arounds though:

  1. Using FlowArm, export the angular position of each servo for each frame, as well as the delay between frames, and convert to an Arduino-based program. This would remove the dependency on the computer, and you would have full control over the sequence, startup etc. The current LSS FlowArm lists all commands sent to the motors to be able to reproduce motion via a different software.
  2. Use FlowBotics Studio to modify Flowarm LSS: FlowArm was created using FlowBotics Studio and everything in it is accessible and customizable.
  3. If you give us an idea of what you’d like to do (the application) perhaps there are other approaches which might be possible.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
