I am interested in designing some add on components for my robot using memory alloy wire.

I've never used it before, and thought I'd ask for general advice/pitfalls before I order.

Interesting stuff. I have a couple of those NanoMuscle units. Very power hungry, not very strong. The stiquito is driven by nitinol wire only so in the right application it can be useful.
