Iam going to develop a simple robot hand. The hand is supposed to be controlled by movements carried out by a human hand. My question is about which type of sensor that would be best to use on the human hand to detect the bending of the fingers. The primliminary idea is to use a glove with flex sensors on each finger on the human hand, so when the person bends a finger the sensor bends to and a measurment of how much the finger is bent is obtained.
Does anyone have a suggestion on good flex sensors or strain gauges that are easy to use? Since I have a limited amount of money and the plan is to use an arduino-platform, the flexsensor has to be relativly cheap and be able to work with the arduino.
