I cannot get the firmware to load on my computer. It shows that the socket isclient not server. Can some one help me with this. It just keeps saying waiting when trying to connect. My computer shows that the port is right and that the com port is connected

Any particular reason you are having to reload the firmware?
Some how I hit something on my rios contol and it will not connect to the robot. It was working before i did something. I even tried Lynx term and I cannot connect. i used my home and a school laptop and cannot get it to read the software. It shows i do not have the ssc cad file. I have deleted the program and reinstalled and get the same. I can connect to the right com port but nothing happens. any suggestions out there. It tells me that I have a socket that is client not server.
I have now figured it out. I have 2 boards that do not work .
Are you sure? That sounds a little unlikely, baring a very bad over-volt to them both.

Did the boards ever work? You still have not said why you are messing with the firmware. In the past people have tried to reflash the firmware when they had other unrelated issues that was not related to firmware.
I used another robot that I assembled and it works fine. I cannot even get the boards to light up green on one board and the program shows no firmware. The other board the elbow in 3 does not work all other connections do so that board does me no good unless I can plug the elbow in another slot for it to work and register
ZoomKat, I flash my SSC32 Firmware all the time, but when I do all the female robots leave the room.
