Firmware Upload Failure - Baud rate limit?

I have eventually got the FCT firmware working on a laptop and I am now trying to flash the firmware to the quadrino nano. It is failing due to the “maximum baud rate for device 29936”. the error message does not refer to which device (ie is it the laptop, the USB port or the quadrino?) nor now to rectify it. I have tried playing around with baud rate settings (under Options, ‘Misc’ tab), but none seem to have this baud rate mentioned anywhere. Help with getting past this problem would be appreciated.

John

Hi John,

You need to un-install the drivers and use a subsequent version as the latest seems to make errors at the moment.
Should work fine once you do that.

Eric,
That seems to have worked. Many thanks.

No problems, we ran into this issue a couple of weeks back.
Still unsure why the Sillab driver is broken.

Hello,

Can you please share the link for the older version of the FCT software, because i am also facing the same issue…

Thank you…

This is not related to the FCT but the usb driver.
Just select the driver as shown in the earlier post.

Hello,

I am getting below error
“Firmware upload failed!!!, maximum baud rate for this devise is 6392.
Parameter name: baudRate”.

but i didn’t found any option to change the baud rate, can you please help me to resolve it?

As advised, please read the earlier posts HERE.

Thank you!!!

But still getting the same error???

Please advise…

What have you tried ?
You need to fully uninstall and delete the drivers then download the earlier version.

I tried to uninstall the 10.1.1.1951 version but its not getting uninstalled …

First connect your Quadrino Nano to the computer.

Step 1 - In device manager right click on the device and select Uninstall

Step 2 - In the pop-up select uninstall

Step 3 - Disconnect your Quadrino Nano and download the following drivers
Download for Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (v6.7.5)

Step 4 - Start the installer (CP210xVCPInstaller)

Step 5 - Connect your Quadrino Nano and test it

Hey,

Thank you so much, its started
but now its only showing flashing… and “uploading firmware to Quadrino, please wait…” , it doesn’t not proceed.

Kindly help

First try to reboot your PC and go through the FCT again
