Not at all - the actuator is a type R, so you need to connect it to a device which can provide an RC PWM signal. The other two wires are connected to 6V and GND. You would not use a normal DC motor controller with this actuator. Normally you use a DC motor controller with 2-wire linear actuators which have limit switches at either end.
