Firgelli FCB-1 Actuator Control Board

Hi,
I wanted to know if the FCB-1 will drive a rotational actuator and also be initiated by an optical sensor that sees a part passing it.
I need it to rotate approx -45 deg from horizontal, wait for a few seconds, then go +45 from horizontal, wait a few seconds then back to horizontal to park.
Any help will be much appreciated.

The FCB-1 is primarily designed to drive linear actuators with feedback (Hall effect or optical), but it can be adapted for a rotational actuator if the motor follows standard 12-24V DC brush motor specs and provides pulse-based feedback.

Does your rotational actuator have built-in feedback (3 or 4 wires besides the motor power)?

Is the optical sensor an NPN/PNP type or a simple relay contact?

I am new to all this. I have not got any parts to this, it is a project at the moment only on paper.
I have brass parts that exit my cnc lathe along a conveyor, eventually doing down a chute, dropping into a collection bucket. They are only around 30mm diameter.
This is fine for most applications, but with this particular component, they are getting damaged. When the bucket is full, it then gets taken to a dipping tank to be dipped in a solution that prevents them forming a green tinge. From there, we pack them individually into trays in a box and delivered to the customer.
There is an 'accumulator table that a few companies provide, usually in the form of a large rotating table, like a record deck. This is positioned underneath the chute by the cnc lathe, the parts drop into this and the table spins around on a timer so the parts don’t drop into each other. If they didn’t need dipping, that would be fantastic. If we bought this accumulator, we would solve the problem of them getting damaged, but then we have to gather them all, put them in a basket and then dip. This will damage them and cause more work.
I have designed, on paper, a small dipping tank that would sit in between the chute and accumulator. The part drops into a horizontal tray at one end. If there was a shaft running through the tray, if you imagine a carburettor butterfly flap, this tray could be incremented -45deg to let the tray swivel with one end dipping the part into the small tank. Then a few seconds later, it goes back to horizontal. Then another few seconds delay to drain, then +45 deg to tip the part out (the tray would be open ended) into the accumulator. The parts then can be packed straight from the accumulator.
I wondered if this product along with an appropriate rotating actuator would work?
It would need to work from a sensor telling it when a part passes the chute.
I am struggling to find any company to do this work, hence me trying to sort this out myself.
If I can find the parts that will do this, I will buy them. I can get a local company to fab the tray and tank.
I have current orders for these parts for the next year, so I really want to get this sorted.

To me, this sounds like a jos for an industrial servo drive and motor, controlled by PLC.
