I am having trouble getting past Step 17. assembling the Viper kit. When I plug in the battery into the connector, I am getting a slow blinking red light (no data coming from the radio) according to the assembly guide. I have tried several times to bind the receiver to the radio (FS-CT6B) but have not been successful. Any suggestions?

According to the picture you sent, the connection to the receiver are reversed.
The Orange wire (signal) should be toward the center of the receiver, not on the outside as it is right now.
