FingerTech 'Viper' Combat Robot Kit V2

Hello

For the FingerTech ‘Viper’ Combat Robot Kit V2 what else do I need to get the robot up and running. I do not have any other parts. From what I understand I need the remote transmitter and receiver, battery charger and what else? Can you recommend what remote transmitter and receiver and battery charger I would need to order? I also notice that fingertech has weapon kits. Do you sell any of them?

Hi Gary,

To complete the robot you will need a R/C radio system (receiver and transmitter) as well as a LiPo battery charger.
The RadioLink 6CH should do the job just fine but if you want to get more channels, we have other systems available.

FLASH 7 Computer Radio w/ Optima 7 Receiver
Spektrum DX5e 5 Channel Radio System
T6J 6-Channel 2.4GHz Computer Radio System
DX6i 6 Channel DSMX Radio System w/ Receiver

Here are two LiPo charger:
B3AC LiPo Battery Charger (18W)
B6AC LiPo Battery Charger (80W)

It’s always better to charge and store LiPo in a safe bag and a LiPo monitor is a must:
Battery LiPo Safe Charging / Storage Bag
Universal Battery Voltage Monitor / Alarm

All the best,

Hi

Thank you for this info and the quick response.

2 More questions:

 1. This is a 2 wheel vehicle or is it 3 wheel. I know the 2 “back” wheels are powered but is there a small 3rd wheel in the front center of the unit?

 2. Do you know when this will be in stock?

Regards
Gary

There are now front wheel in the kit but you can mount one if needed. A mounting pattern is cut if needed. (look at the picture bellow)
Our system give us an ETA for the 2015/09/14.

We purchased a Viper kit and were wondering if anyone had any instructions for configuring a Spektrum DX6 radio to control the Viper. Thank you.

Either you use a mixer like THIS or you can program your Transmitter to get the two channels mixed (Aile - Elev) to gain tank mode.
