Finding the right geared DC motor

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

I want to build a four-wheeled robot for agricultural use.
I used the Drive Motor Sizing Tool and gave me the following answer:
Angular velocity: 0.91811 rad/s, Torque 80.274 Nm, Total Power 73.701 W, Maximum current 6,1417 A, Battery Pack 122.83 Ah,

for total mass of robot 300 kg, radius of drive wheel 0.127 m, Robot velocity 0.1166 m/s, Supply voltage 12 V

Please, can someone help me in finding the right geared DC motor at as low price as possible?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!

Hi,

After a few calculations here’s what I could find:

If you use the CIM motor:

With this gearbox:
https://www.robotshop.com/en/banebots-p80-single-cim-gearbox-256.html

You will have a geared motor with the following specifications:

12V
RPM Peak efficiency: 18RPM (1.88 rad/s)
Torque at peak efficiency: 11520 ozf-in (81.34 Nm)

Which is very close to what you need, just a bit faster.

Hope this helps.

Yes my friend, yours help is usefull in my project.
Thank you so much!!!
