I have hopes for this new section of the forum. I have always loved building and painting model cars and trucks. Adding intricate details like tool boxes in the trunk and plug wires to an engine made it more lifelike. These days people are doing the same sort of thing in RC. Scale trucks and rock crawlers, scale planes of course, and now even scale multirotor copters. I want to explore this in more depth as it pertains to robotics.
Anyone building a scale version of anything robotic can post here. But please don’t post your details of your mech warrior if it does not look like a mech. 
Great! Your post is informative and have much knowledge about the functionality of robotics to scale. I vote for truck scales and scale planes of course to measure the standard valued and weights.

Thanks Benson appreciated. I have to re-organise myself and gear up to continue this project. where i left off was getting ready to do fiber glass molds of the body sections, the last pics that are on my site were of the plugs . so need to cast a set of female molds then the final body . There is a section on here somewhere where i posted all the pics as per my webpage, but having trbl locating it . would be nice to transfere it to a section here then continue.
