Female to female jumper cable search

Im in a bit of a situation at the moment. i need some female to female jumper cables but cant seem to find anywhere in the jolly old uk that sells them.
Any help would be much appreciated.

ive found a site that sells them but i think ill follow mike and make them as the price is high.

Hi Tom,

I faced the same problem a few months ago. Couldn’t find anywhere in the UK/EU to buy F-F jumpers. Eventually I bought a pack of single female header pins from either Rapid or RS, crimped and soldered them onto lengths of wire, and covered the headers with 1.5mm heat-shrink from Maplin to insulate the ends. There’s a more deatiled write-up somewhere on LMR.

Crimp
In theory you can just crimp them with a pair of needle-nose pliers. I like to solder them as well to make sure. Once you’ve got the hang of it, and the parts to hand, you can knock them out in no time.

Thanks Mike, ill try that at some point. ive found a place for them, http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=199, however £2.69 for 10 seems abit much for me.
