Several months ago my litter robot died. It had put in several years of flawless service, and was not purchased from you. You folks were kind enough to sell me a replacement DC jack, and a new motor (since I had the thing apart already anyways).
The repaired unit worked flawlessly until a few minutes ago. The motor stopped and died in the middle of a cycle, and nothing I did would get any sign of life. The panel was flashing all three lights, until I power cycled it and it just showed the yellow “cycle” light. Finally I leaned into the globe, to try and force the motor to turn and it sprang back to life and seems to be fine.
This is just an isolated incident for now, but I know enough to not expect it to stay that way.
What are the odds of a replacement motor failing in this way?
