Fast Blinking blue light - Robot Litter 3

Hi!

I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.

Description: When i ower on the litter, the blue led flash fast. All buttun not work.

Hardware concerned: Litter robot 3

Troubleshooting steps already taken: Clean - disassembling the litter and clean the DFI sensor and cat sensor.

Additional information: Order 1300036732 on 4/4/2020

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Litter-Robot.

Does the yellow light start blinking fast if you press the “Reset” button or still no action?

Did you check the Anti-pinch pins and cleaned them?

The Anti-Pinch safety feature is two pins connected to the motherboard that must touch each other continuously.

If they are separated, you will have an alarm(yellow blinking light). The Anti-Pinch safety is located in the top back left of the Litter-Robot base. You will need to unplug the unit, remove the bonnet, the globe, and the drawer.

It is ‘‘Two Metal’’ pin. With a flashlight, you should be able to see if they are touching each other or not. If they are not touching each other, try to re-position it with a flat screwdriver by pushing them upwards.

Note: If the pins were dirty or rusty, you can take them out and clean them with WD-40 and sandpaper.

Hi Ebram,
No action if i press reset button…remain led blu blinking.
i cleaned the Anti-pinch pins.
I have already seen the video, and I have followed all the steps, but the flash blu led remain.

In this case, the DFI sensor is defective needs to be replaced.

This video will show you how to replace the sensor, please check it and let us know if you are able to replace it by yourself if we sent you a new sensor, or if you prefer to send the robot to us for repair under the warranty:
