ergoCub is a collaborative humanoid robot project, born from the collaboration between IIT and INAIL. It aims to improve the working conditions in logistic warehouses, by helping human operators to handle heavy or bulky objects. It is equipped with an artificial intelligence that allows it to learn, adapt and communicate with humans. It respects the safety and well-being of workers. The project started in 2020 and plans to produce two prototypes of robots to test in real or simulated environment.
