Enable BLEduino bluetooth

Hi,I bought recently a BLEduino card. I plug it to my laptop and I can’t find it as a bluetooth device on my bluetooth parameter of my smartphone and my laptop. I tried to use the PlainProtocol.h header file (the default library of Elecfreaks) in order to to initialize with the function “init” but nothing happened.Do you have an idea what did I wrong ?Thanks in advance,Best regards,

Hi,
I ever follow the tutorial (without the dongle usb because i had bluetooth on my laptop). I tried the AT commands and each time I had “Error.”.
Any idea ?

Hi,
I just plug my board on my laptop in order to supply it. There is no wires because the chip is ever supply through the USB, I checked the supply thanks to the accessible 6-pins of the TI CC2540.
For the AT commands I looked at the datasheet. Only when i sent “AT” I received “OK” for the others I received “Error.”.

Did you check if you have the appropriate driver installed ? Could you post a screenshot showing your COM ports in your "Device Manager"when the BLEduino is plugged on your laptop ?

According to windows update the driver is the last version.

I am very disappointed about the situation … I ever tried to contact directly Elecfraks but no success, no answer …
In order to continue my project can I have a free module bluetooth that I can connect on my arduino or a something in compensation ? Indeed, your product didn’t work and I couldn’t move on my project since a long time now.

We are sorry that you didn’t receive an answer from Elecfreaks, we will also try to contact them on our end. While we wait for their reply, are you sure that your smartphone and laptop are BLE compatible ?
If so, does your BLEduino shows up as a Bluetooth device when it’s powered ?

Of course they are BLE compatible I have the last galaxy s8 and my laptop is recent too. And I don’t see the board when I powered on in my bluetooth parameters.
