Welcome to Electronics Done Quick where I try to explain the most basic components used in electronics as fast and simple as possible.
In this first tutorial , we will talk about one of the most basic electronic component: The resistor! They come in many shapes and forms and by the end of this segment, you'll know (almost) everything you need to know to master the resistor.
Nice magmotor. I should remember some of this from studying for my ham license but I don’t. Nice t have all the info in one place and as a refresher course. I never really had a head for electronics though - electricity has always befuddled me.
I won’t lie, I had to get back into it lol It’s been almost 2 years since I’ve completed my degree and I’ve lost some of my knowledge along the way.
There’s a guy on Youtube called bigclivedotcom who disassembles everyday stuff and explains how they work, I really suggest watching some of his stuff if you’re curious about electronics: https://www.youtube.com/user/bigclivedotcom/featured
Can someone explain to me why diagrams like these always show current flow from + to -? It is my understanding this is backwards and current flows from negative to positive.
