I also have an OoPic R, it is a great controller for quick 'n dirty bots. Very easy to get up and running, but I always have to upgrade to a better controller when the project grows, as they always do.
OK, the OoPics have severe limitations, but they have plenty of flexibility for projects that don’t yet need more power. I also have an EEPROM to max out that aspect, at least.
A great ‘first’ controller, especially for newbies on a budget. Too bad Savage is out of business now. He/they also did the Speakjet and SoundGin, right? Now THOSE are some unique capabilities! I have 2 SpeakJets, one of which I plan on integrating into Otto’s latest incarnation.
So fire up Eddie, and show us what an OoPic can do! Rock on!
