I have an unusual request for help. I have been asked to build an Easter tomb for the Church. I want to move a twelve inch fake “stone” across and back across the tomb entrance. I have in mind attaching the base of the stone to a geared track running in a slot and a small low voltage motor with a gear on the spindle moving the track backwards and forward controlled by a toggle switch changing the supply feed.
So please, can anyone think of a better solution or where will I purchase the parts to accomplish my goal?
Regards, John Baldwin.
Can you give an idea of size and weight? A drawing or two would help a lot. Can you also tell us what is already built?
