Ease networking operations using robots

Hi All,
For a research i am willing to introduce a robot to ease networking operations. This robot able to identify networking switches or ports, cable connectivity, temperature &etc.Pls build a discussion for this idea

Hi @GihanDush and welcome to our forum.

This is an interesting idea for a robot. What is your initial idea? A robot with some arms and cameras that can move, connect/disconnect cables or something else?

Is there already some similar projects?

Thank you for sharing more data with us.

Yes .it can identify ports mulfunction by scanning ,cable connectivity issues can be sorted.then there are sensors for capturing temperature.Dust volume is also monitored here.ibm ,cisco are developing robots for data center & server rooms .point out some opinions here

Interesting. I didn’t know that these kinds of robot exists. Can you share some links?

Interesting. Thank you for sharing.

First one looks like a robotic arm doing all the work. If you want to develop the same, we can recommend that you try using UFACTORY robotic arms:

They are not expensive and relatively easy to install and program.

For the second video, it looks like an inspection (or guiding robot) with installed cameras. Basically something like this:

What do you think?

What are the technological methods to use to monitor dust composition, temperature monitoring.Im going to use electrostatic dust sensor to identify dust composition, splicing cables also doing by this robot

I guess using Thermal Imaging Sensor could do this.

For example, this robot is equipped with such a sensor:
