I am working on a project dealing with drones. We have not purchased the drone yet. I am still searching for components fitting the requirements of my project. My concern is if I buy the essential components such as motors, flight controllers, airframes, etc., will they all fit together? In other words, do they work together? Can someone help me out to resolve the issues? I need a list of components that work successfully once they are assembled.
Secondly, one aspect of the project is the constant communication between the drone (quadcopter) and a PC. As I asked previously, Lynxmotion controller is programmable; in detail, it is able to provide communication between the drone and a PC? What is your recommendation to establish the connection.
We can help you get the proper parts for your project, they mostly all work together but will result in different characteristics.
The right ESC / Propeller / Battery setup for your intended copter weight is the most critical.
Our Quadrino Nano is an Arduino board at the core, so anything could be programmed to it.
It’s best to start with the MultiWii project as it’s open source and can already fly copters than you can make your changes to the code.
There are several I/O ports available on the Quadrino Nano, some Serial ports that might be useful for you if you want wireless connection to a PC.
Either with a Bluetooth or XBee module (or anything else). With a custom cable you could use the 3DR 433MHz Radio Set for UAV.
With MultiWii, you can already connect a Bluetooth module and get a GUI on Play Store for your mobile. MultiWii EZ-GUI on Play Store
Based on your response, I have to tell you that we require a quad-copter capable of carrying 2.5 KG as payload excluding the weight of the drone components. In addition, I would like to ask you whether the more sensors used in the drone will consume more battery power or not. If yes, please introduce us a high quality rechargeable battery suitable to our project; we might use more sensors in the quad-copter.
Also, the main criteria of the quad-copter is its indoor flight. It will be used inside the house such as to maneuver through the rooms without colliding with obstacles.
Finally, once you have introduced us all the components, will manual be available for assembling parts and programming the controller? and how long does it take to ship them to United Arab Emirates?
This is a custom project, there will be no Manual for assembling components.
For the controller, it’s an Arduino based controller so you can program it with Arduino IDE and start with the MultiWii project
Using a Multicopter Indoor is very dangerous and unless you have a proper propeller safety should be avoided.
Since it’s gonna be a very large Multicopter it’s even more dangerous.
i read your question there are many componnets which are require during drone buiding like lights,Carrying Case etc, i read a article this article covers all the requires components,
Go through this article may be it wil be helpful for you.
Thank you for your insight. Normally a “carrying case” and “lights” are optional accessories and not part of a drone build.
