Driving Range Golf Cart

Brand new to robotics and a huge fan. I need some help. I own a driving range and I want to be able to operate the golf ball picker by use of radio control. The Picker is powered by a gas motor which starts once the gas pedal is pressed. I only need it to go forward, left, and right. Could someone list the transmitter/receiver. servo’s and anything else I need to help me reach my goal? thanks so much in advance…

That is perfect thanks so much for pointing that out to me. So according to the video I need:

  1. R/C transmitter and receiver
  2. A servo with a potentiometer for steering
  3. A linear actuator for the gas pedal
  4. A linear actuator for the brake.
  5. A controller to send power to each of the actuators and servo.

Any suggestions on any of these items?
Power cables from each to the controller?
12 Volt battery power supply is currently in the cart. Can I use this as my power source? I would assume so.
