I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
I have 8 Sharper Image Robotic Arm robots that very quickly all broke the same gear. So instead of replacing it with the same kind, I need the gear in a stronger plastic or metal.
Double spur gear, 26 teeth and 8 teeth, about 2 and 1/4 mm diameter
Can’t seem to find a stronger version of this gear. Any advice?

I couldn’t find exactly the same gear in RobotShop offer.
What you could always do is to try to design it in 3D CAD software or try to find online already completed design.
Then you can try to print it out on 3D printer to see how it works.
But the best way would be to make a new one in your local machining workshop. They can make it from stronger plastic or metal using CNC machines and similar.
