I now have a heavy, tall, wheeled robot I want to do…so I will be going down the path of overbuilding everything.  I’ll see what I can learn from your project as you progress.

Any updates on this? It looks like an interesting project but has not been updated in a year.

Thanks for the interest in my project.

The truth is that I was a father this year and I had little time to devote to the project. Despite this, I have made improvements in:

  • Artificial Vision: Updating to version 3.3.0 of EmguCV.
  • Speech engine: Adjusting the voice tone to a more friendly voice.
  • Knowledge base: Ability to obtain Wikipedia information.
  • Etc.

Basically they are improvements in the software section. In the section of electronics and mechanics I do not have as much experience and I’m moving forward with smaller steps.

Congratulations on becoming a father! The best kind of “robot” building!
I am glad you are still working on it. I hope you get time to do more and add it to the post. It’s a very nice project.
