does the same python libraries work for all the RPLidar models?

Could you please specify (maybe post a URL) which Python libraries you are referring to?
AFAIK, the manufacturer (Slamtec) does not provide official Python libs for their devices. They seem to still only provide a C++ SDK and a C++ ROS driver.
That being said, the protocol is the same across various models with some features being different, so it should be usable directly (or with minor tweaks) in most cases.
Alternatively, you can also contact the maintainer(s) of the Python library you are using and check with them what models are compatible with it.
