Does SSC-32 Sequencer work on a mac?

I was going to buy the scout biped and the software to program it. However the software requires windows, and I (being a mac person) don’t have windows. So does the SSC-32 Sequencer work on macs. If not a similar software that does would be much appreciated.

Not exactly what you are looking for but MAC OS X will run windows…

*Have a Windows application you need to use once in a while? No problem. Every new Mac lets you install Windows XP and Vista and run them at native speeds, using a built-in utility called Boot Camp.

Setup is simple and safe for your Mac files. After you’ve completed the installation, you can boot up your Mac using either Mac OS X or Windows. (That’s why it’s called Boot Camp.) Or if you want to run Windows and Mac applications at the same time — without rebooting — you can install Windows using VMware or Parallels software.**

Thanks. However my father wont be too pleased if started running windows on our computer. Any other suggestions?

If you have bluetooth on your mac you could try the following:
Connect a bluetooth modem to your SSC32:

Once the SSC32 is connected to the modem you can access your SSC32 like this:

You then might be able to use this program:

You might be able to purchase a FTDI usb to serial adapter and hook it directly to your mac. If you use the bluetooth modem you won’t have to have the SSC32 tethered to your computer but you will with the FTDI usb to serial adapter.

I have an iPAD that doesn’t have a usb connection so my only option to pursue would be bluetooth. I have not tried the above on the iPAD yet but this is the direction I’m researching.

If others have tried this I would be interested in seeing how they approached it.

Have you tried the below?

I tried to setup an appointment using IE on Windows and this is what comes up! Guess I’ll have to try it on the iPAD!
