Do Roomba Vacuums use JST style connectors?

Do Roomba vacuums use 2.54mm JST Connector Kit? I broke a little white 4 wire female bumper sensor connector on a S9.

If not what would be their preference?

Hi @BB_61 and welcome to our forum!

Can you attach here a photo of the connetor?

Also, try to measure distance between the pins.

Thank you

I took the pictures against the scale for pin measurement reference.

My broken connector pictures.

Hi @BB_61

Thank you for your reply.

It is hard to measure distance between pins (holes) of the connector based on these pictures. You should check if distance between holes (pins) is 2.54mm.

Also, which connector is on the other side of the cable?

By magnifying and comparing to a scale the plastic housing is 6 mm and the pin spacing is 1 mm. The pictures are of the broken housing half that is remaining and the broken empty socket on the board that would retain this complete wire housing. The pins in the board fitting look like rounded rectangles rather than square wire.

Hi @BB_61

Sorry for late reply.

If the pitch is 1mm, then this connector should fit: Qwiic Cable Breadboard Jumper (4-pin) - RobotShop

Thank you.

Thank you for helping me find the correct connector (1mm Female Qwiic JST connector). This will get my Roomba going again.

Let us know if you managed to solve the problem. Thank you.

TripleSemStore on Ebay had the bumper and wire harness including the connector. I installed the bumper and now the Roomba works well. The 1mm connector turned out to be too small for this connection.
