Hello,
Do you all have any pan tilt systems that would support the weight of the Kinect. The Kinect is about 3lbs.
Thank you

Certainly. Some options:
robotshop.com/en/lynxmotion- … black.html (ideally remove the Kinect’s base)
robotshop.com/en/torxis-high … embly.html (overkill)
robotshop.com/en/servocity-s … luded.html
plus
robotshop.com/en/servocity-b … servo.html
For this pan/tilt kit ----> robotshop.com/en/lynxmotion- … black.html are you able to ideally use it with Arduino. Also, is there any videos or more photos that give a better view of the mount?
Last can you explain what you meant when you said remove the Kinect’s base? Did you mean I should do this to better attach it to the mount?
Thank you.
It uses standard R/C servos, so you can certainly use it with an Arduino. However, since the servos used are quite powerful, be sure not to provide power directly from the Arduino’s I/O pins.
Not really. It’s comprised of the following components:

robotshop.com/en/lynxmotion- … b-205.html
robotshop.com/en/lynxmotion- … -pack.html
The Kinect includes a motorized tilt; if you purchase the new XBox One version, it does not include this and would be closer to the axis of rotation (requiring less torque).
Alternatively, the Asus version is considerably smaller than the Microsoft version which would also mean less torque is required.
