DIP switch on sabertooth speed controller

I have a question about the DIP switches on this speed controller.

Sabertooth Dual 12A 6V-24V R/C Regenerative Motor Driver

Manufacturer #: SABERTOOTH 2X12 R/C

Obviously, the speed controller has two channels one for each of two motors.

Is it possible to change the DIP switches so I can run two motors from one channel instead of two channels?

Basically, two motors will be controlled from one channel. I am not using these channels to drive but for another reason so I need both motors to move if possible together on one channel.

Hello @MadCarlo and welcome to the RobotShop forum,

Yes, simply use Switch 1 in the DOWN position. Also, please make sure the current draw for the two motors doesn’t exceed the output current per channel (continuous 12A, peak 25A).
