Digital servo range?

I have some hitec digital HS 5485-HB servos, and the HPP 21+ programmer. “Stock” programming for these is something like ± 60 degrees for the 900 - 2100 range of PWM signals. The range of the servos can be limited just fine, but What I don’t see is a way to get ±90 out of them with a full 500-2500 PWM input. Wider PWM, more resolution I suspect.

Funny the HPP 21+ does not provide a 500-2500 range.

Anyone familiar with this programmer and digital servos?

You are correct that the stock servo rotates ~120 degrees. We have not tried programming it to make it rotate 180 degrees, so perhaps someone else here has tried.

It would be nice to know their intent in the servo design and programming. Some good features that I’ve already used, but the inability to program as I mentioned is a mystery.
