at first glance these seem identical and for $10 more you get wheel encoders. Cool. I’ll do it. But close examination it seems the pirate has better or different motors. Can someone clear up the difference?

They both use the same motors and wheels “TT Geared Motor with Back Shaft (160rpm 6v L Shape)”
Pirate: Dimensions: 200 x 170 x 105mm (7.9 x 6.7 x 4.1 in)
Baron: Dimensions: Length 230mm（9 in） Width 185mm（7.3 in） high 110mm（4.3 in）
Pirate: Enclosed base
Baron: Two encoders included
perfect. thanks. that is what I suspected. It would have been a bit more clear if the Baron just said it was the Pirate with encoders and a bit larger.
