Can anyone please give me some help with the coding for the Coin Acceptor. We are using the PBasic Software and are not sure how to hook up the Coin Acceptor to the microcontroller to give us results of the value of the coin thanks

First, you have to decide if you wish the output to be in pulsed or by serial. We recommend to use serial for ease of use.
You can find the details about the product and its interface in the manual. There is also a guide for calibration of coins (multi-coins mode) and another guide about output modes (pulses & serial) for multi-coins mode.
There is also video instructions on the product page under “Multimedia” detailing how to program various coins. The video also covers the basics of using the serial mode.
Concerning using the PBasic Software to develop your application we cannot give you direct support but if you post more details on the forum about what you tried up to now, someone from the RobotShop community may be able to offer some help with your implementation.
