It’s based on the Arduino Uno, so yes, it can communicate via I2C.

Thank you for your response. If it does have I2C pins, which ones are they? According to the schematic and testing of the board, V2 does not have I2C pins, but V1.5 does. I have tried A4 and A5 with no luck.

The additional I2C pins above the digital pins are not broke nout, so you would use A4 (SDA) and A5 (SCL) as well as V and GND.
