DFRobotShop Mecanum Rover 2.0 - Battery

Hi, I am looking at getting a DFRobotShop Mecanum Rover 2.0 and am wondering if I need to purchase a power source separately. In the pictures, it looks like there is a battery pack attached, but in the list of included items there is nothing mentioned. I would hate to get the rover and then have to make a second order just for a battery pack.

I am new to this, is there anything else I would need to order to get started? I have some ideas for add ons later, but what is the bare minimum to get started?

Thanks

The LiPo battery pack was removed and the price was updated accordingly. The kit includes a 4x AA battery holder which is how we suggest powering the rover. You can also consider upgrading the motors to 6V and using a 7.4V LiPo or a 6V NiMh pack. A 3.7V LiPo works (and can be charged via the onboard LiPo charger), but the rover is quite slow going side to side. A 7.4V LipO needs an external charger.

If you have a USB cable, then you have everything you need to get started. Note that you will either need to control the rover tethered to the computer (or upgrade to wireless) or program the motion to be autonomous. The easiest (plug and play) wireless control would be to add RB-Dfr-10 and a USB Bluetooth dongle.
