What does the DF1201S.disableAMP() command do? I think the speaker output is nominally into 4-8 ohms at 3W max, but I don’t hear any difference with or without this command. Does disabling the amp produce line level output?
Thanks!

Hi @swampd32618 and welcome to our forum!
According to the Wiki page, enable/disableAMP command enables/disables amplifier.
But maybe you don’t see a difference because of the speaker you are using.
The DF1201S.disableAMP()
command is intended to disable the on-board amplifier on the DF1201S module, which in theory should result in a lower output level. By disabling the amplifier, the module ideally outputs a line-level signal rather than the amplified output designed to drive a speaker.
