Dewalt 981 XRP batt hack

Hi,

Just wanted to share some non-robotic stuff I did today.
I have an old Dewalt DW981 XRP battery drill. But the batteries has seen better days.

So I did a little hack by using a 3S 5000 mAh hardcase LiPo battery instead of the old 2Ah NiCd batt. Inside the old case I have a 30 amp fuse and a LiPo warner.

Finally I have a drill with some power again! :laughing:

I have the 18V Dewalt 970. Iā€™m amazed how much I use it on the Robomagellan.
