hello everyone am from Nigeria i started making a device that can be used to reduce carbon monoxide poisoning in generators and other mechanical devices so i just want to know if it is necessary or not and i also want help on how to make the device

I believe that first of, if you want to measure the Carbon Monoxide in the air, I recommend using a MQ-7 Gas Sensor:
