Development of SEQ

Hey All

Iv been away from my Lynxmotion robotics for awhile but have recently found myself picking them up again for a few simple things. I curious to know if SEQ is still in any form of development? I’m pretty sure its been over a year now since the last version was released. Has development basically been dropped in favor of things like Flow Stone?

SEQ is still a viable product, but the author is not interested in furthering the development. He will fix any bugs that arise though. We are developing similar products in-house with FlowStone that are available for free. The FlowStone versions are a lot simpler to use and understand. Devon is adding features as he learns the FlowStone programming capabilities. 8)

Thanks for the reply Jim. So will there be something similar to SEQ available in the near future? I see you can get Flowstone Pro and I’m sure something similar can be done with that however its quite a hefy price. I played with FlowArm a bit the other day and its a pretty nice, would be cool to have an equivalent for a higher servo bot.

You don’t need the flowstone programming package to use our free programs, but if you want to make changes it is required. We have free version of the SEQ we are working on. Updates for it will be announced on this page. viewtopic.php?f=46&t=7426 and we will be adding it to the Software page on the main website. Please wait for the update as it has a lot of new features.
