Devastator tank

Hi!

Can someone suggest a replacement metal motor for the devastator tank. I have the plastic one which came with the kit.

The replacement plastic motor is this one:

If you want the metal gear motor (included in the other version) this is what you are looking for:

The problem is that you also need the coupler (Labeled as D2 in the assembly manual) but DFRobot does not sell it on his own sadly.

I looked at the instructions but don’t actually see where D2 is used in the assembly. Is is actually needed ?

I already checked the manual and couldn’t find any reference to D2 except for in the parts list. I don’t see any other reference to that art number in the pdf. Is it mislabeled. Can you tell me what page its on?

I just looked and you are right, looks like it was mis-labeled as “M2” in the drawings.

Look at page 7, you will see that you need to attach a part to the output shaft of the motor.
