I am looking to buy the Devantech 24V, 49:1 Gear Motor w/ Encoder, but it seems there is limited information about the actual components that make up the motor assembly.
For example, the gear ratio is stated, but there is no listing of the type of gearhead (spur, planetary, etc), the number of stages, back drivability, or any maximum torque/speed specs.
For the motor itself, there are no speed or torque constants, but only a graph that offers a rough estimate of some specs at a chosen torque value.
Is there a more detailed spec sheet for this motor assembly?
Unfortunately for that motor, what we have online is all we can get. The gearing is likely planetary.
You should not operate beyond the maximum power rating of around 16kg-cm. The rpm would be just below 122.
We have found that many manufacturer of gear motors do not have the full specs which many customers appreciate, and we apologize for any inconvenience.
Is that 16kg-cm on the motor output or on the total (motor+gearhead) output?
Because the provided chart for the motor alone describes conditions at 4kg-cm. Considering the 49:1 gear ratio, the puts the total output torque at nearly 200kg-cm. I only need a total output torque of 25kg-cm. And (if my math is correct based off of best estimates from that chart), that is the equivalent of a total output rpm of about 130 and a 1.8A/16.67V power pull.
