Devantech 16A 8-Channel Latching Relay Module

I purchased this, [h1]Devantech 16A 8-Channel Latching Relay Module[/h1]
I’m having trouble communicating with it. I installed the driver sw. It shows up in device manager, I’m trying to exercise relays woth labview sending serial port data with no luck. Please help.

First thing to do would be to try the example application supplied by the manufacturer on the information page HERE.

yea, the relay module test application works. I’m wanting to control the relays via labview s/w and thought I might be able to just send the commands via com port with NI serial port communication.

There is probably something not handled in your code.
You might want to dig the examples to know how to properly talk to the board.
