Desolder resistors ArduCam "Spy Camera" for multi-camera?

Anyone got 4 RB-Adu-15 Spy Cameras working on one Raspberry Pi 3?

We have 4 cameras and 1 multi-camera adapter RB-Adu-01, and it almost works

]2.5 amp 5V wall wart/:m]
]ArduCam’s gpio script runs SLOWLY but no results (no preview or JPG …no error)/:m]
]All four red LEDs near ribbon plug in light up, then the STAY ON until reboot/:m]
]stderr from raspistill throws error “failed to create component ‘vc.ril.camera’ (1:ENOMEM)”/:m]
]ArduCam has a FAQ listing a ENOSPC error, looks similar, but kind of vague instructions
]fix requires to DESOLDER RESISTORS to “remove some resistance”/:m]
]They have pictures arducam.com/knowledge-base/r … per-board//:m]/
:m]
]1 spy cam (no adapter) works fine
]Hooray for compatibility --> camera & board specs only listed as A/B/B+ RPi 2 compatible/:m]
]LED illuminates and then goes out after raspistill/:m]/
:m]
]Adapter +1 camera (and +2, +3, +4) behaves as above/:m][/list:u]Before we pull the trigger and desolder, wanted to check with you guys

]Any additional / alternate forums I should ask?/:m]
]About “some resistance”
]Any harm to remove only 1 of the 2 and try first? Or better remove both as pictured?/:m]/
:m][/list:u]Thanks

We have not had the chance to try on our end. The manufacturer of the multi-cam adapter would be in the best position to help, and can be reached at [email protected]
If you don’t hear back from them over the coming days, we can contact them on your behalf.
